How does the saying go - “Someones loss is someones gain?”
The Clark County School District has been the beneficiary of the tumbling economy. As school districts throughout the country downsize, laying off hundreds, CCSD is able to recruit the talent needed and look like a savior by offering over 400 teacher jobs in Las Vegas to those affected.
Most recently, a Dallas school district had to layoff 375 teachers due to the economic times. Others have included school districts in Michigan and several on the East Coast.
